Fundraiser Event

St John Fisher Parish and Schoenstatt Catholic Church located on Manchester Road, Kearsley, Bolton BL4 8QQ.

there is a family fundraising event on the 25th April between 1400hrs-1700hrs at the church.

This is aimed to raise funds for a young man called Daniel who has just recently this month celebrated his 21st birthday who lives in the community. He has some learning difficulties and has spina bifida. All through his teenage years and to the present time he has had operation after operation with complications and infections that have affected his bones.

Currently Daniel uses an NHS wheelchair but it is only suitable for flat ground and he is restricted as to where he can visit. He would love to go to the beach or see the beautiful countryside however he is not able to do this.

The intention is to raise 15k to enable us to buy a specialist electric wheelchair for Daniel which supports his disability and will enable him to live a independent life and experience all the things a 21 year old should. Please join us and help to support this event.
